THIRD SUNDAY OF ADVENT – YEAR C
Listen to the Reflection here!
Second Reading: Philippians 4:4-7
The Lord is near.
Brothers and sisters: Rejoice in the Lord always. I shall say it again: rejoice! Your kindness should be known to all. The Lord is near. Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Questions for Reflection
1. How can you experience God more fully, so that you are set free to rejoice no matter what sufferings you experience?
2. Why can we rejoice even when we are persecuted by hostile anti-God forces?
3. How can we Christians do a better job of demonstrating the joy of Christ to the world?
